About Travel-Rite -
Travel-Rite International was founded in 1968. The company is family owned,
first by founder Ronald M. Schultz, and now by his son David Schultz. Since
the time of inception, the travel industry has undergone many changes. With
all that is different within the industry, one thing has remained
constant. Travel-Rite is still here, offering Corporate Travel Services,
Honeymoons and Family vacations, and still giving the customer service that
made us who we are. We have adapted to all changes year in and year out, and
are still flourishing in a very tough industry.
In 1998, Travel-Rite and the Schultz family made a big decision in terms of
the Company's future. At that time, Travel-Rite ranked in the top 100
agencies nationally, and the top 15 agencies in Chicago. With Travel agent
commissions cut and being cut again, we decided we could not compete with the
Mega Agencies for the services of Fortune 500 Companies and decided to
reinvent ourselves. Travel-Rite sold the Oakbrook Corporate offices which
contained the largest volume accounts, to a top 3 agency in the Country. That
sale allowed us to start again with a new focus and new plan in the northern
suburbs of Chicago.
Moving Forward
As Travel-Rite stands today in the new Millennium, we are very much the same
and very different at the same time. We do 50% Leisure Vacations and 50%
Corporate travel. On the Leisure side we have experienced veterans selling
Cruises, Apple Vacations, Disney and much more. The Corporate department is
also doing very well in a brand new environment. We now do Corporate Travel
for any companies that do $600,000.00 per year and under. Travel-Rite has
focused on small and medium size companies only and are able to give all of
our clients the best service all the time. Whether your company has one
traveler or fifty, come be a part of a family owned company that is always

Travel-Rite On-Site, our meeting planning department, handles small and large
meetings and outings in the area. We have handled groups from 5 to 5,000 and
specialize in meeting planning, Hotel negotiations, room lists, and on-site
staffing available at your meeting.
